End user's benefit is Top Priority-Ms. Kalpana, MD, Creations The Laptop Shoppe

Ravindra Sharma:  What do think that Hollywood Experts are necessary for better training in Animation and Multimedia?

Answer: I think that in this field Indians are more intelligent as compare to people of other countries. But problem is here in India is that people are more interested to earn money they are not interested to develop infrastructure, even they are not interested to invest on maintenance of infrastructure, this fact is true for mainly in Jaipur and Rajasthan. Because my company and I aware about Jaipur and Rajasthan. Many other states and Cities of India are doing a lot like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai etc. Here in Jaipur computer vendors and other IT institutions may compromise quality and services issue, they don’t think about customer’s benefit for long term. For example we are launching a scheme – Desktop at price of only Rs. 9999/- in which we are not earning so much.

Q2. What is market view about you.

Ms. Kalpana: Our target is “Padho Rajasthan Badho Rajasthan” in which complete benefit goes to end user or customer. Other vendors here in Jaipur are not looking this type of requirement of customer where customer can get some new type of benefit. We are fulfilling this. Our company “Creations” sold 3000 Laptops and PCs in last cycle. So we have given business to Jaipur directly or indirectly and overall Laptop and PCs market share raise. So our both companies understanding this type positive market view.

Q3. Tell me about your other company.

Ms. Kalpana: Other company is “National Electronics and Home Appliances” which has a chain in all over Rajasthan and it is headed by my husband.

Q4. Tell about your “Creations- The Laptop Shoppe”.

Ms. Kalpana: Our “Creations” has eight branches in Jaipur and Ninth also opening shortly. We are not taking business from Jaipur but we are giving business to Jaipur and Rajasthan. Other vendors are not realizing this fact, they think that “Creations” company came here and captured our business, this thinking is not fine. You see that we started our business in year 2007 at here in Jaipur, you can compare the business of the year 2007 and today’s business of Jaipur, business of 2007 was 40% of today’s Laptop and PCs business. So we increased 60% business. My company’s engineers work 24x7 and our sales and support is very organized.

Q5. Here in India PC and Laptop users face a problem they have many troubles after purchasing PC or Laptop, they are not satisfied with after sales service of local vendors.

Ms. Kalpana: This is true, our company now launching another product of AMC, which cost at Rs. 999/-, in which we are giving three year warranty that is on site AMC (first one year with parts and two years service). Other is of Rs. 1999/- three year warranty with parts on PCs and Laptops. So we can say that if end user’s Operating System corrupt 110 times in this period, we’ll see this and customer will be happy by this after sales service.
